Hailing from Queensland, Robbie started to play the guitar at the age of 7, since then Robbie has opened for many Australian icons including INXS, JIMMY BARNES, MARK SEYMOUR, ROSS WILSON and DARYL BRAITHWAITE making him no stranger to the industry. Robbie has also played alongside STEVIE WRIGHT and NORMIE ROWE; more recently Robbie has been playing lead guitar for DEAN RAY (X-factor runner up).
In 2013 Robbie released a collaboration album with Phil Emmanuel. The album titled ‘Chariots Of Fire’ acclaimed rave reviews internationally and the pair toured the album to sold out shows and standing ovations.
It all began at a very early age for Rob, touring with all sibling band 'The Bostocks ' to rural parts of Australia. In 1998 Rob and his band ‘The Bostocks’ attended the Tamworth Country Music Festival for the first time and have been going back ever year. Since then the group have been awarded prestigious Golden Fiddle Awards and have had nominations in the Golden Guitar Awards.
In 2007 Rob won the inaugural “Long Live the Lead Break” - battle of the axe competition. The competition featured, in addition to Robbie some of the hottest guitarists in Australia.
Some highlight concerts that Robbie has performed at in recent years have been: The Gympie Music Muster, The V8 Super Cars in Darwin, The Stars under the Stars Concert (NZ) and The Port Fairy Folk Festival where he was awarded The Maton Young Talent Award. The guitar virtuoso has recently landed an endorsement with Swedish based guitar company 'Levinson Blade' and is set to release a new solo album.
