Hailing from Queensland, Robbie started to play the guitar at the age of 7. Soon after he was performing and touring with his sibling group ‘The Bostocks’. Since then Robbie has carved a name for himself as a respected guitarist and has performed alongside some of the biggest names in the industry including Tommy Emmanuel, Normie Rowe and the late Stevie Wright (1947-2015). Robbie has also worked as a session guitarist and contributed on numerous successful releases this year including Amber Lawrence's 'Living For The Highlights' which went to number 1 on the ARIA Top 50 Chart.
In 2013 Robbie released a collaboration album with mentor and long time friend Phil Emmanuel OAM (1952-2018). The album titled ‘Chariots Of Fire’ acclaimed rave reviews and the pair toured the album to sold out shows right across Australia.
2019 saw the virtuoso take home ‘Instrumental Of The Year’ at The Australian Song Writing Awards for his single ‘The New Rivals’. The competition featured an influx of entries from some of the most prolific songwriters across Australia. This year is set to be even bigger for Robbie with the release of his new instrumental EP titled ‘Explorations’.
